Robert Fugère (1942 - ...), inducted in 2025

A member of Rivermead Golf Club since 1979, Robert Fugère is well known for his performances on the mid-amateur and senior men's tours. His provincial titles include the Metropolitan Invitational Championship (1998), the Men's Provincial Senior Championship (2000), the Men's Provincial Mid-Amateur Championship (2001), and the Men's Provincial Senior Match Play Championship (2002).

At the national level, he won the Canadian Senior Men's Match Play Championship (1999), the Canadian Senior Men's Championship (2005), and the Canadian Super Senior Men's Championship (2013). He recorded the lowest senior score in the Canadian Senior Golf Association's Lord Shaughnessy Cup (1997), tied for the Devonshire Cup, in which he shared the U.S. senior trophy (1998), and won the Ed Ervasti Trophy for the lowest super senior score (2004 to 2008).

Finally, on the international stage, Mr. Fugère won the regional events of the U.S. Senior Open (2000 and 2002).

Among the accolades he has received over the course of his career, he was named "Senior Golfer of the Year" by Score Golf Magazine (1995 and 2005), "Senior Golfer of the Year" by Golf Québec in 1997, "Golfer of the Year" by Ottawa Sports (1997 and 1998), and was inducted into the OVGA Hall of Fame in 2021.

Robert Fugère joins the Québec Golf Hall of Fame in the player category.
