2025 Canada Games

 

 
This year, the Canada Games are back and will take place in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The golf competition will be held at the Bally Haly Country Club from August 19 to 22, 2025.

The Canada Games golf tournament is a national competition featuring an individual and a team competition. Two (2) boys and two (2) girls will represent Québec in these competitions, with the possibility of winning two (2) medals.

A team of coaches will be assigned to accompany them during the competition and on the Games site.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Golf was included in the Canada Summer Games program in 2009 and has been featured in every edition since then.

Professional players, Brigitte Thibault and Étienne Papineau, are among renowned players who formerly represented the province of Québec.

During the 2017 Canada Games in Winnipeg, Québec won every competition.

In 2022, on the fairways of the Legends on the Niagara Golf Club, Guillaume Paquette completed the four (4) rounds in 278 strokes (-10) to win the silver medal, finishing just one stroke behind the winner.
