Inter-Regional Championship - Get the complete results
Montréal, September 8, 2025 – The Ottawa region lived up to its reputation at the Inter-Regional Championship held last Saturday, September 6, at Parcours du Cerf in Longueuil. Golfers from across the region joined forces to win the event for the seventh time since its inception in 2012.
Ottawa's Landon Van Loon and Lukas Zubec won the skills competition in the juvenile boys' category, and their teammates Owen Hull and Qingmu Wang followed suit in the 2-man Vegas competition in the pee-wee boys' category. These two victories gave the region a significant lead in the cumulative standings.
Van Loon and Zubec also took second place in the 2-man Vegas of their division, as did Ceilidh Spare and Matilda Gordon in the girls’ category, and Jack Sample and Connor Bradley in the boys’ bantam category.
These results allowed the federal capital region to take the top spot in the competition with a score of 80 points, compared to 54 for the Québec City region, which finished second.
Two duos from the Capitale Natonale finished at the top of one of the competitions on the schedule, with Charlie Mitchell and Victor Albuquerque winning in the 2-man Vegas in the juvenile boys' category, while Benjamin Careau and Elie Bellavance won the skills competition of the bantam boys.
Montréal-Nord completed the regional podium in the overall standings thanks to three second-place finishes during the competition. Édouard La Siège and Xavier Hébert in the pee-wee boys' category, Maïka Trempe and Laurianne Payer in the girls' division, in the Vegas format, as well as William Roberge and Anthony Pellerin in the bantam boys' skills competition all took second place.
Also noteworthy are the first-place finishes of Ewan Chen Plasse and Austin Guo (Eastern Townships) in the boys' pee-wee skills competition, and of Claire Hu and Raphaelle Provost (Montréal South) in the girls' skills competition.
Zixuan Tan and Lia Bouthillier (Saguenay/Lac-Saint-Jean) won the 2-player Vegas competition in the girls’ category, while Tristan Martel and Lucas Simoneau (Mauricie) finished first in the Vegas competition in the boys' bantam category.
