 Golf Québec is Looking for a Sport Development Coordinator
 
 
 The Québec Golf Federation (“Golf Québec”) is the governing body for golf and its vision is to be the leader and reference for the practice of golf in Québec. Its mission is to increase participation, develop excellence, promote the game, and govern the practice of golf.
 
It represents close to 50,000 members in over 250 clubs in Québec and Eastern Ontario. Golf Québec offers programs such as Sport-études golf, rules of golf, course ratings, and the World Handicap System. Golf Québec also oversees various regional and provincial amateur competitions.
 
Golf Québec is looking for a dynamic individual to join its Sport Development Department. The person selected for this full-time position will work as part of a team with the Director of Development Programs and Training, as well as with Golf Québec staff.

Main Files
• Québec team program.
• Support to identified athletes.
• Regional junior development structure.
• Support to clubs participating in development programs.
• Professional development of coaches.
 
Task description
• Write educational, technical, and operational documents.
• Coordinate program and project logistics.
• Coordinate Québec team activities (camps, competitions, meetings).
• Contribute to the creation, planning, and execution of programs and projects.
• Recruit potential partners for our programs and development projects.
• Guide coaches in their training and professional development.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners (coaches, regional association volunteers, club leaders, athlete parents, etc.).
• Analyze and propose solutions to technical and organizational development challenges.
• Assist the Development Programs and Training Director.
 
Requirements
• University degree in progress or completed in physical education, sports intervention or management.
• Excellent writing skills (very important).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French and English).
• Knowledge of the Québec sports environment and its governing bodies.
• Experience in high-level sport.
• General knowledge of the golf industry is an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and videoconferencing software.
• Enjoy teamwork.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Autonomous.
• Ability to manage priorities and time effectively.
• Ability to travel within the territory to be served (Québec and Ontario).
• Valid Québec driver's license.

Duration and dates

• Between $50,000 and $55,000 per year.
