The 2024 JB Golf Cup Raises Funds for Golf Québec's Junior Golf Development Program

The 3rd edition of the JB Golf Cup ended on September 16, 2024. This corporate event, with its charity component, took place over 9 days of golf throughout the season. The 6 members of the Cup, all from the business community, had the pleasure of playing and visiting various prestigious private courses in Québec, where they were accompanied and coached by professional Jérôme Blais.

After 2 seasons supporting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Townships, the JB Golf Cup wanted to get involved and give back to the next generation of golfers. “Golf has been so good to me for so many years, it was important for me to give back to my sport,” said Jérôme Blais, founder of the JB Golf Cup. In 2024, a partnership with Golf Québec was the perfect way to share the money raised to support Québec's junior golfers. As a result, $6,000 was donated to Golf Québec to support the development of junior golf.

That same day, the 6 members of the JB Golf Cup were paired up with 6 juniors from Golf Québec. They all played a round at the Victoriaville Golf Club, which hosted the event free of charge. As the club's affiliated professional, Jérôme Blais was also very proud to announce an additional donation of $1,000 to the Victoriaville Golf Club's junior fund.

The JB Golf Cup will be back for a 4th season with the same 6 members, all of whom have already confirmed their return for 2025. In 3 seasons so far, nearly $24,000 has been raised for our youth. Thank you to all our stakeholders and partners.
