For the second day in a row, Kate Guo and Julia Riel (Richelieu-Yamaska) won gold medals in the girls' 13-17 event. The pair, who had won in the “two balls, best ball” format 24 hours earlier, repeated the feat on Thursday, amassing 58 points using the Stableford method.
Wearing the colours of the Rive-Sud region, Léanne Sarrazin and Samuelle Roy took silver in this category with 55 points. Mylee Murillo Beaudoin and Vicky Li, from the Laurentians, completed the podium with 54 points. It was also a second podium finish in as many days for this team, which had won a silver medal on Wednesday.
In the boys' bantam division (13-14 years old), Frédéric Bergeron and Cédrick Hamelin, from the Mauricie region, took top honours with a total of 62 points.
