Montréal, September 23 – Debbie Odoherty (Le Diamant) and Philippe Dion (Les Boisés de Joly 2020) claimed top honours at the Players of 40 Years Old and Over Championship, presented in collaboration with belairdirect on Monday and Tuesday at Club de golf Hemmingford.

Following two rounds of competition, titles were awarded in the women’s and men’s divisions.

In the women’s division, Debbie Odoherty led the tournament from start to finish to claim the title with a two-round total of +17 (161).

Her fellow Le Diamant member, Julie Guillotte, finished second at +23 (167), while Marie-Andrée Ouimet (Rosemère Fontainebleau) completed the podium with a total of 170 strokes (+26).

In the men’s division, Philippe Dion was crowned champion after finishing the two rounds at even par with a total of 144 strokes.

The representative of Les Boisés de Joly 2020 finished three strokes ahead of François Bissonnette (Le Blainvillier), who placed second with a total of +3 (147).

Charles Bellemarre (Royal Québec) and Sylvain Harvey (Alpin) tied for third place with totals of +4 (148).
