Montréal, August 3, 2021 – The Provincial Bantam, Pee-Wee and Mosquito Championship was presented this week at the Drummondville golf club. In the Mosquito division (9-10 years old), the first day of competition on Monday identified the youngest provincial champions of the year.
Zack Bourgeois (Le Blainvillier) displayed his superiority with a round of 73 (+1) to win with a phenomenal 26-stroke lead over his closest rival. Adam Lauzon (Vallée du Richelieu) took second place at 99 (+26) while Rafael Dagenais (public golfer) and William Landry (Les Saules) shared third place at 101 (+29).
The only girl in the female division, young Florence Ho (public golfer) competed with the boys to score 110.
The second round will take place this Tuesday for the Bantam and Pee-Wee divisions.
