The “Competition Club” identification program aims to identify and recognize golf clubs and their coach who meet specific criteria in terms of athlete supervision, athlete development, and competitive participation.
It also aims to promote the clubs and coaches who contribute to the development of golf toward the highest levels of performance.
Competition clubs that meet the established criteria may receive a Seal of Recognition issued by Golf Québec.

Ensure a safe environment for all participants.
-
Encourage the involvement of clubs, coaches, and stakeholders.
-
Support the quality of athlete supervision.
-
Promote participation in competitions.
-

Seal of Recognition
Golf Québec’s Seal of Recognition is awarded to competition clubs that meet the criteria of the identification program and demonstrate a concrete commitment to competitive development.
The criteria are evaluated according to three areas: eligibility, performance, and sustainability. The initial criteria (eligibility) make it possible to identify competition clubs, while the additional criteria (performance and sustainability) help strengthen the application to acquire the Seal of Recognition.
Benefits for Clubs and Coaches
Recognized competition clubs benefit from increased visibility on Golf Québec’s platforms, official recognition of their commitment, and access to resources.
The identification program also helps recognize the work of coaches, strengthen the sense of belonging, and be part of a collective movement dedicated to performance development in golf.
