The Québec PGA is Moving
On December 1, 2015, the head office of the Québec PGA will move to the Olympic Stadium, in the same office as the Québec Golf Federation. One reason for moving is to facilitate collaboration between the various stakeholders of our Québec golf and sport industries. The Golf Québec team is proud to welcome Martine Laparé in her new facilities. You can contact her by e-mail at mlapare@agp.qc.ca.

Pro's Advice | Winter Conditioning

Summer and the golf season are now things of the past. Nonetheless, for those of you who will stay in Québec, it is already time to think of getting fit to improve your physical strength and balance. Golf is a sport that requires stability, strenght (force plus speed), and flexibility. In the months of November, December, and January, muscular conditioning is highly recommended. Then, in February and March, you will want to start working on specific golf related moves. Read more of this Pro's Advice by François Sauvé on Golf Martial Lapointe... The Québec Snowbirds Are About to Fly Off

For the lucky ones, it is now time to pack your suitcases and fly off to follow the sun. When you reserve your trip with Merit Travel, each booking will evoke a contribution to the Golf Québec "From School to the Golf Club" fundraiser of which Merit Travel is a proud Partner.

And if you are in Florida, should you need some technical advice, don't hesitate to contact one of our long-time collaborators, Denise Lavigne, who will be working at the Deer Creek Golf Club, in Deerfield Beach, for the winter months.

The Rules of Golf According to Édouard | Beasts, Insects, and Other Dangerous Situations
Rule 1-4 is a funny one. Instead of giving a specific ruling, it covers any "Points Not Covered by Rules"  by refering us to the Decisions on the Rules of Golf. These decisions will give a clear description of such dangerous situation and propose various options that are available. Read more in Édouard's blog on the Rules of Golf on Golf Martial Lapointe...

Last week, he took part in the Honk Kong Senior Championship along with golfers coming from every corner of the world. He ranked 3rd overall and was crowned in the 65-69 years old category.
