The Rules of Golf According to Édouard | Fall Weather, Leaves, Water...
When a ball goes towards a water hazard and that we are almost sure that it landed in it, we can chose to look for it, and a few precautions must be taken. But how should we proceed when a bridge or a path
cross this water hazard? And what about the multitude of leaves
that cover the ground, bunkers, and even line the limits of a water hazard?

Stay Motivated With the Défi Santé Golf
For the past ten years, Sylvie Schetagne and her students have been participating in the Défi Santé Golf
which is a great complement to her three (3) Golf-Tonus sessions
. Too many golfers lose their skills during the cold season. As a result, they must rebuild their technical memory every year to get back in shape to play golf.
Training During the Whole Year Is Now Possible in Québec City
This year, the b2golf team thought outside the box and reviewed the way golfers are training in the winter as well as in the active season. What came out of it? They are inviting you to discover Club b2golf
, the first indoors golf center that is open year-round in Québec City. Golf fans will be able to meet in a friendly atmostphere to learn, practice, and share tips.
Workshop | Training Girls: Create a Successful Structure
All coaches will be interested to know that Égale Action is planning a workshop called "Training Girls: Create a Successful Structure" that will be held at the Olympic Stadium on November 18, from 6 to 9 pm. Topics of discussion will include the importance of providing the proper learning and training structures to female athletes, from their first steps in a sport activity throughout their development. A successful structure should contribute to reducing the number of teenager girls who quit playing. We were also confirmed that this workshop is eligible for NCCP credits
will end on November 11, 2015.

Mauricie | Fall Clinics
Taking advantage of the splendid fall weather, two golf clinics were given to students of 7th and 8th grades at École secondaire Val-Mauricie in Shawinigan-Sud. This was made possible with the help of their Phys. Ed. teacher, Jean Turbide. These two clinics were conducted by head professional of Le Mémorial, Luc Richard, in collaboration with Gilles Bourassa, retired senior PGA of Canada member. Our young participants loved their experience which will be most likely reconducted in 2016. Photo credit by Gilles Bourassa

After dedicating five years as a volunteer of the Québec City Regional Association, three of which as President, it is now time for Jacques Bédard to pass the torch. For now, the regional Vice-President, Denise Mazerolle, will serve by interim until a new President is appointed in the coming weeks. This also applies to the Treasurer position as Marielle Rodrigue is retiring after many years of loyal services. Photo credit by Golf Québec: Jacques Bédard
