Coach of New Competitors (CNC) Training
Did you know that 100% of your colleagues who followed a CNC training session in 2014 are recommending it to their fellow members? Would you like your facility to be recognized as a National Junior Golf Development Centre (JGDC) in 2016? If you want to meet the coaches' training requirements for next summer, this is your last chance to register for a CNC training session. Read more... Registration deadline: September 30.

Mobile Clinics | Fêtes de la famille of Laval and Boucherville
This September 6, in its effort to introduce young athletes and their parents to the game of golf, Golf Québec participated in the Fête de la Famille of Laval. This was a phenomenal success with hundreds of dynamic visitors!
 
The following weekend, despite the first caracteristic rainfalls of automn, we also visited the Fête de la famille of Terrebonne where a few brave ones discovered the game of golf.

From School to the Golf Club | You Can Adopt a School Too!
As part of the Golf Québec annual fundraiser, Caisse Desjardins de Terrebonne made a donation of $250 enabling a school of their neighbourhood to receive a complete Golf in Schools teaching kit.

Our Regional Associations and Volunteers

Join the Golf Québec Team of Volunteers
As a sport federation, our mission is to promote the growth and development of golf across the province. Our services are provided by over 250 volunteers who contribute to delivering amateur golf programs in every region. You are feeling up to the challenge? Send us your Volunteer Application Form before November 1st.

The Golf Summit and Fall Meetings

All the provincial golf associations and golf club managers will get together for a 3-day convention in December of 2015 as they will participate in the Québec Golf Summit. At Golf Québec, we will participate in the committee meetings that are scheduled on December 9 as well as in many conferences and Honorary Gala Dinner to be held on December 10 at Château Bromont. Eastern Townships | Bob Vokey "Short Game Challenge"
Cowansville was host to the Bob Vokey "Short Game Challenge" which was used as a fundraiser to support the development of junior programs conducted by Pierre Dugas and Maxime Paiement at the Académie.
 
These programs and their goals include: creating of a Junior Golf Development Centre (JGDC), implementing and maintaining programs such as From School to the Golf Club, Golf in Schools, CN Future Links, She Swings, She Scores, First Drive, Golf-études, as well as summer junior camps, day camps, and more specifically the Elite junior rep program of the club. Égale Action offers several training workshops adapted to your needs as well as those of your clients and stakeholders of your region. All training sessions are aiming to help women and young firls  that are involved in the physical activity and sport industry and to facilitate the development and enrichment of a positive environment. Suzanne-Beauregard Commemorative Tournament
Congratulations to Diane Dolan and Sandra England who won the gross competition in the Suzanne-Beauregard Commemorative Tournament that was held at the Kanawaki Golf Club.
 
In the net event, Francine Roy, Lucie Roussel, Lucie Gagnon, and Lyne Laplante shared the honours.

University Tour | Bishop Open
Apparently, it's not only in football that the Rouge et Or rivals are more prepared than ever for their competitions. After dominating most of the golf events of the past 10 years, Université Laval was upset by Concordia at the recent Bishop Open held at the Milby golf club, in Sherbrooke. Canadian Men's Senior Championship
The Canadian Men's Senior Championship was held at the Desert Blume Golf Club, in Medecine Hat, Alberta. In the inter-provincial competition, our team composed of Jean-Guy Garnier, André Jetté, and André Raymond (in replacement of Adélard Collin) ranked 7th.
