Jean-Pierre Beaulieu Recalls the First Moments of Brooke Henderson's Career in Québec
In 2008, a young golfer impressed many by ranking 11th in the Provincial Junior Championship gathering the best golfers of Québec and Eastern Ontario at Club de golf Continental, in Sorel. Brooke Henderson was only 10 years old. Our Executive Director shares the story of his first encounter with this golf prodigy who recently won the Cambia Portland Classic and earned her LPGA card...

This year, Golf Québec is promoting a fundraiser called “From School to the Golf Club”. Our objective is to raise the required moneys to pursue our golf development initiatives specifically designed for children and families. Support Golf Québec. Make an online donation!

Golf Canada-Under Armour Performance Camp
The Junior Golf Development Center (JGDC) of Club de golf Beauceville will be host, on September 18 and 19, to the Golf Canada-Under Armour Performance Camp. Under the supervision of Robert Ratcliffe, National Coach, with the collaboration of Golf Québec coaches, this will be a great opportunity for athletes to get together in a national evaluation event, be noticed by the national coaching team, and get prepared for the 2016 Québec CN Future Links Championship. Read more...

L'Assomption's Family Day
On August 15, our mobile clinic visited the Family Day of L'Assomption where many young and young at heart had the opportunity to discover the game of golf. What a great example of our dedication to golf development in Québec!

Lévis Introduces Children of 5 to 9 Years Old to Golf
On August 14, Club de golf Lévis opened its doors to children of 5 to 9 years old for the 8th edition of its Introduction Clinic. This year, 16 little ones had fun discovering the game of golf in this event conducted at the Académie by b2golf.

Eastern Townships | Journée Paul Brouillard
Club de golf Venise made 30 little ones very happy this Sunday as they participated in an event of the Introduction to Competition Tour (ICT) as part of the Journée Paul Brouillard! Clinics were also conducted to introduce them to FUNdamental golf technics before they played 6 to 9 holes.

Montréal | Last Day of the Junior Camps at Montcalm
Junior camps are already completed at Club de golf Montcalm. The Club Professional, Fernand Lalande, and future Professional Suzanne Rose strike the pose with their new graduates. We hope to see many of them on our courses in 2016.

Eastern Townships | Short Game Challenge at Cowansville
The Club de golf Cowansville is inviting you to its "Short Game Challenge" on September 9. Bob Vokey, well-known for designing the most popular wedge in the world, the "Vokey design" Titleist Series, will also be in atttendance. This "Short Game Challenge" is a friendly event in which gofers of all skills levels can take part and have fun. A special conference will be presented by Mr. Vokey who will share his story from his home in Verdun to the creation of the #1 short game tool. Read more (in French)...

Team Richelieu-Yamaska Wins the Federation’s Cup
Laurent Desmarchais and Mathilde Denicourt, strong representatives of golf’s future in Québec, could not pick a better moment to showcase their talent, this Tuesday afternoon, at Club de golf Les Boisés de Joly. Tenacious even on the sudden-death playoff holes, the young Richelieu-Yamaska hopefuls contributed to their region’s victory with their teammates at the Federation’s Cup. Read more...

A Double-Eagle at the Federation's Cup
Congratulations to Saguenay native, Andréanne Laforest-Allard, who registered the only double-eagle of the Federation's Cup, and she did so in the final round. At 173 yards from the pin, she was able to sink her ball using a 5-hybrid. Nice shot!

Bélanger and Rhéaume Crowned at Mount Bruno
 Provincial Junior Match Play Championship
The Mount Bruno Country Club was host to exciting matches between the best junior golfers of the province who were competing in the Provincial Junior Match Play Championship. More importantly, two of the best hopefuls of Québec golf, Charles-Éric Bélanger and Sarah-Ève Rhéaume, both members of Club de golf Royal Québec, were crowned after completion of this high caliber event. 2016 Provincial Junior Championship
The junior golf season is not quite finished yet, but the Golf Québec team is proud to announce that the 2016 Provincial Junior Championship will take place at Club de golf Cowansville from July 12 to 15. Reserve these dates right now!

Drive, Chip & Putt
Québec player, Lory Paradis of Golf Le Mirage, tackeled one of the most difficult courses on August 14 as she participated in a Drive, Chip & Putt qualifier held at the Bethpage Golf Club in New York. And you? What was the nicest course you ever had the chance to visit?


111th Canadian Men's Amateur Championship
Six Québec players made the cut at the 111th Canadian Men's Amateur Championship. Amongst them, Hugo Bernard of Laval-sur-le-Lac tied for 2nd. Following a first round of 75, Bernard tweaked his game and registered impressive scores of 68, 69, and 69 to finish the event at -6 overall!
