We are asking Canadians to share their golf-related stories with the goal of inspiring more golf! Saguenay/Lac St-Jean/Chibougamau | Discover Golf in Summer Camps

Everybody knows, Saguenay/Lac St-Jean/Chibougamau is one of the most proactive associations when promoting golf development. This year, summer camps are joining the introduction activities proposed by the region. For the past three weeks, young participants had the pleasure to visit their driving range three times a week, at the rate of three groups per day. A new champion surely will rise from this new crop of players!

Eastern Townships | The Sani Marc Canada Cup Will Be Back at Victoriaville
 The third edition of the Sani Marc Canada Cup, won by Lee Curry, ended with great news from the Victoriaville mayor, Alain Rayes, who proudly announced that an agreement was signed between the Ville de Victoriaville, PGA of Québec, and Club de golf Victoriaville to bring back the Canada Cup in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Another Undisputable Victory for Étienne Papineau
Crowned at the 66 th edition of the Alexander of Tunis, Étienne Papineau earned a second provincial men’s amateur title. At 18 years old, he finished the 98 th edition of the Men’s Provincial Amateur Championship on a high note as he unequivocally captured the victory of the last leg of the Men’s Triple Crown. The Team Québec Boys Win the Inter-Provincial Competition
 Team Québec won the inter-provincial team championship on its own turf at the Canadian Junior Boys Championship. Read more... Congratulations to Étienne Papineau, Raphaël Lapierre-Messier, and Félix Normand (on the Golf Canada picture). The individual competition will end tonight at the Summerlea Golf and Country Club. In Saskatchewan, our girls' team ranked second, behind British Columbia, in the inter-provincial team competition held within the Canadian Junior Girls Championship. Congratulations to Céleste Dao, Sarah-Eve Rheaume, and Annie Lacombe.

Optimist International Junior Golf Championships en Floride
 Laval resident, Annie Lacombe, played very well under the scorching Florida sun. The 2014 Provincial Junior Champion tied for 3rd at the recent Optimist International Junior Golf Championships. Get the complete results... As for Félix Normand, he proudly represented Golf Québec as he ranked 3rd in the team competition, with Ontario player Michael Rizzo, with a score of 69 (-3).

Canadian Women's Amateur Championship
 The 2015 Canadian Women's Amateur Championship was recently held at the Riverside Country Club in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Our provincial team composed of Katherine Gravel-Coursol, Valérie Tanguay, and Caroline Ciot ranked 4th in the inter-provincial team competition, only 10 strokes behind the Alberta winners.
