"Feminine Leadership" Convention
Exceptionally this year, the "Feminine Leadership" convention presented by Égale Action will be integrated in the national event "2015 Conversation - Women in Sports". This convention facilitates networking between female coaches and contributes to reducing isolation. It provides an opportunity for coaches to share their experiences, develop new skills, and meet with role models. The "2015 Conversation" will suggest concrete solutions to recurring problems encountered by girls and women in the Canadian sport system, based on 8 specific themes. For more information or to register, visit http://www.conversation2015.ulaval.ca/.

MENTOREACTIVE is a leadership training designed for girls of 15 to 17 years old. It enables them to acquire new skills, share their knowledge, implement their ideas, apply communication technics, learn to solve conflicts, and develop their leadership. This is an opportunity for girls to get together with other girls who share their interest for sports or a physical activity. As a result, they get to understand themselves better, develop their support network, and learn to take charge in their sport. Contact Égale Action to schedule a training session in your region. Grants are also available to help you offset the costs! 514 252-3114 extension 3615, info@egaleaction.com, www.egaleaction.com.

Pierre-Alexandre Bédard, University Player of the Year in Québec
