GRANTS – FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO JUNIOR GOLF DEVELOPMENT

Golf in Schools – Golf Professional Visit

Local PGA of Canada professionals and Community Golf Coaches visit schools in their area to build on the existing Golf in Schools (GIS) programming being delivered and help the Phys. Ed. teacher introduce his students to golf. This is a great opportunity to promote your junior golf development program and, eventually, recruit new participants.

· You must be a registered CN Future Links instructor and use the program actively.

· The visited school must be a registered GIS site.

Grants of $150 are available.

CN Future Links Field Trip Program

You would like to receive students you are attending school in a registered GIS site and make them experience golf in a special activity conducted at your golf club or facility.

· You must be a registered CN Future Links instructor and use the program actively.

· The selected school must be a registered GIS site.

CN Future Links Girls’ Club

By running a Girls’ Club you may increase female membership at your club or golf facility and help grow the game of golf for girls.

· You must be a registered CN Future Links instructor and use the program actively.

She Swings, She Scores – Come play golf with your team!

You would like to invite one of your local women’s teams and make them experience golf in a special activity conducted at your golf club or facility.

Please submit your ideas and detailed project in writing. For instance, we need to know where and when this activity will take place, which team/sport is invited, who is responsible for this event, its schedule and budget, as well as the contact information of the visiting team. An activity report must also be submitted to receive the grant.

Community Golf Coach Training (PGA of Canada – NCCP)

This financial support covers half of your registration fee.

This training session is designed for those who would like to work with children and introduce them to golf. This could be your Club’s junior representatives, a parent who is one of your club members, one of your staff members, one of your junior players who could help younger participants in your junior program.

This workshop is open both to members and non-members of the PGA of Canada. It is a 2-day training session including outings on the course. Participants must be 16 years old and over.

Eligibility conditions:

· You must be a registered CN Future Links instructor for the 2016 season and use the program actively.

· You must be referred by a PGA of Canada member – letter of recommendation.

· You must be affiliated to a club or organization that provides junior golf development services.

· You must be a member of Golf Québec or the PGA of Canada.

· The affiliated golf facility must be a member of Golf Québec.

Within this grant program –A maximum of 4 grants can be allocated to each facility.
